PS Vita Round-Up: April's Looking Very Promising While many might still be recovering from March’s amazing releases, the PlayStation Vita is not looking to let up any time soon.

Enter the April edition of the PS Vita Round-Up, which comes jam packed full of some great new titles that can match just about any taste. It has some action, adventure, platforming, and there's even some crazy JRPGs in there too that will have you hooked to your portable console.

    Ragnarok Odyssey ACE
Back in late 2012, the PS Vita was given a hack n’ slash title that for many rivals that of Monster Hunter. This vibrant colored world featured beasts that friends could gather together to topple with fun and exciting gameplay. This all continues in the newly enhanced release coming in April.

Featuring all the content and DLC from the previous version, ACE includes new enemies, skills, dungeons, HUD, gameplay balances, and a new extra episode. Players of the first installment can also import their saved data to pick up where they left off.

Prepare to hack and slash enemies today on April 1st in North America. While Europe was announced to get a release, there is no solid date.

    LEGO The Hobbit
What if you could combine your love of LEGO and the epic tale of The Hobbit. Enter LEGO the Hobbit, an epic tale that turns the first two Hobbit Films “An Unexpected Journey” and “The Desolation of Smaug” into a fun action adventure.

This title includes over 15 playable characters such as Bilbo Baggins, Gandalf and all of the dwarves and they each come with their own unique abilities. Take the journey on April 8th in North America and April 11th in Europe.

Conception 2: Children of the Seven Stars
In the world of Aterra, which has been ravaged by monsters for 20 years, chosen Disciples by the worshipped Star God gather at a special school in Fort City. This school serves as a front-line defense between mankind and the monster forming Pandora Labyrinth. Players take control of one of these chosen Disciples as he forms bonds with partners to create Star Children to defeat the many monsters set before them.

Despite the questionable name, Star Children are formed by a process of infusing between two characters in a ceremony and touched hands. Though that’s not to say this game doesn’t get a bit risqué. The children created are gifted with strength to do battle and can be formed into 16 different classes. Once your party is assembled, you can embarked on a journey through the Labyrinth and do battle in an enhanced turned based combat.

Ready your Vita for this bizarre adventure on April 15th in North America. Europe will be getting a digital release however no solid date has been given.

    Sly Cooper Collection
Sly fans rejoice as the Sly Cooper Collection will soon be available for the PlayStation Vita. Featuring the main Sly Cooper titles from the PlayStation 2 era remastered for the Vita. This includes Sly Cooper and the Thievius Racoonus, Sly 2: Band of Thieves, and Sly 3: Honor Among Thieves.

Fans in Europe can get their hands on this title on April 16th while North America will see a May 27th release.

    Demon Gaze
From the creative minds at Kadokawa Games, this game enables you to take control of the one who possesses the Demon Gaze, an evil eye that has the power to capture defeated demons and turn them into keys to battle against enemies set before you.

This turn-based first person dungeon crawler will have you outfitting a party spanning across 5 different races and several classes including Fighters, Healers, Wizards, Assassins, and more. Demon Gaze is slated to hit shelves on April 22nd in North America and April 25th in Europe in both digital and retail versions. A special Limited Edition is also available for pre-order.

That rounds up this list of PlayStation Vita titles slated for April. With all these great (and weird) titles due to release, let us know in the comments below which one has your fancy. Ready to create an unstoppable army of children? Or are you ready to relive classics?
