Well you shouldn't get a 3DS just because of one game. I'd say if there are 5 games that you really want to play then you should get it. Its your decision in the end.

I don't think you should invest in it even if there were only 5 games you were looking forward to. A handheld is only worth getting if you're going to be using it a lot. Do you think it'll do its job of keeping you entertained on the go? If so, go for it.

The 3DS at the moment has a fair number of titles that can do that, plus backwards compatibility with DS titles and the new $169 price tag. While the 3D is a big selling point and certainly a bonus, I don't think anyone should really focus on that seeing as it doesn't change the experience that much.

Instead, look at the quality titles that are coming out. You've got Nintendo's first party games as well as a good amount of third party support like Konami's Beyond the Labryinth, Level-5's Fantasy Life, NISA's Cave Story 3D, etc.

At this point, my only motive to get the 3DS is KH 3D. Therefore, I don't think it's worth wasting my thread ceremony money on.

Seems unlikely. With the 3D and dual-screen elements I think it would be very hard for any games to be shared between PSVita and 3DS, and with Dream Drop Distance being one of the main appealing upcoming games for 3DS I would imagine Nintendo would fight tooth and nail to keep it exclusive.

IMO, I don't think the dual screen would be an issue. In my experience playing DS, a lot of action games leave the second screen to a map or something that could be left in a menu toggle by a quick press of a button to glance. As for the 3D element, it shouldn't create any problems, as the 3DS just essentially projects 2 screens of the same game with the camera slightly off on one side. When the 3DS turns off the 3D, it essentially moves to a single screen projected. That single perspective could easily be what they use in the Vita version. But of course that's all speculation.

I do agree with the aspect of Nintendo fighting for an exclusive, which is true with most titles.
