I've been noticing this problem for a while now, but the last post shown in the podcast forum when you are on the main page of the forums is not quite the last post, but instead seems to be the post before last. As I've marked in the title of this thread, this is just a minor error, but one that I think might need to be pointed out. It also doesn't appear as an unread post when it is unread, which is annoying when I'm scanning the main page of the forums for new posts

Shawn may well correct me on this, but I believe it happens if someone posts via the comments system on the main site.

well, you guys might know better then me, but then again most of the posts in news articles on this site come from the comment system, and they don't seem to do the same thing, it's just in the podcast forum

I changed how the backend code works in 3.1 so I'm going to wait to see if that fixes it before I look into this anymore.
