I would say my favorite male would be Snake. Although I only played Metal Gear Solid for the first time last year or so, I became to love this character...

Favorite female...Jennifer Mui from the Mercenaries-games. And yeah, I know. Not a lot character development, but I just like to sneak around and shoot Koreans with a sniper rifle (I know any character can get the rifle)

Once in a while, the role is FF goblins image, which Rydia is a pretty little fairies, especially her green hair and that can discern the eyes of all. In the 16 game time, her background in the game can be said to be a tragedy. I'm trying to stay away from robots, even if they have a "clear" gender. So:

Male: Alucard from Castlevania. There's an emotional complexity I appreciate even though he tends to be pretty cold. He's pretty strained as far as his sense of morals and consciousness and this affects his relationships (or lack thereof, haha), but he's a good guy at the core. And he's awesome.

Female: Marina Liteyears from Mischief Makers. She's nice, but also spunky. She's also got wit and self-awareness (commenting on the "bosses" she faces, much like Pit does in Kid Icarus: Uprising), which I totally appreciate. I only wish she appeared in more than just one game, because she has an awesome personality.

For male character I think I'm going to have to go with Naked Snake MGS3 is probably one of my all time favourite games and it's all because of him, and for female I think it's going to have to be Aigis from Persona 3 I'm just really a fan of the story and her overall character development.

Master chief cause he is such a badass no matter what and Rei Ayanami cause she is just a person loving he job to save humanity from angels ^.^
