I personally despised the terrible way they concluded FF13-2. It opened doors, solved nothing, and left a sour taste. I recently checked out playthroughs of Lightning's DLC (I refuse to pay for what should have been in the game) and it only pushes further the idea that they want to continue this story. It seems even with the low sales of 13-2, it was profitable enough to do it again. This interview only solidifies that.

Sadly, the worst part of this interview and the most news worthy for me is the fact that they are pushing this lie that they need to do DLC. Like they are doing us a favor for doing DLC rather than waiting another month to put it on the disk. They are following all the other DLC ridden companies and I refuse to buy into it. Don't get me wrong, I'm not talking costumes and pets, I'm talking story. Lightning's DLC tapped a toe on the other side of that line I don't want crossed. If they cross it, I'll walk away from their games.

I don\'t think I\'d mind FF13-3. I\'m currently playing FF13-2 and it has actually made like the first one more. Granted I haven\'t gotten to where I have to buy DLC, but so far I don\'t think that I will mind.

13-3 please! I liked 13-2 mainly because of Noel and Caius, so I would like to see more of them. There was a Paradox Ending of Noel saying that he had to save Serah, so I hope it has something to do with that, as well as stopping Caius and saving the world for good.

No more story DLC! Who cares if development time is longer? If that means a better game, then I'm sure the fans wouldn't mind that. But it should be after Type-0 localizes and Versus comes out. If it's before, it won't sell that well because we've been waiting for years for Versus, particularly.

I believe there will most likely be an FF 13-3 and they shouldn't have an more DLC i absolutely despise that in RPGs. But this news leaves me to wonder how much longer they are going to beat this horse I know there are things that need answered but I hope part 3 would be the last game. SE needs to finally get a new idea and push forward with FF 15 instead of continuing along this path

I wait with plenty anticipation for the next podcast that is posted on the website. I was very much hoping for this, I realize many people don\'t like final fantasy XIII series, The Way the story was told, the way XIII was too linear, and now XIII-2 with this un concluded ending and DLC money hog. But regardless of the fact I still need closure with the game this game does not feel natural when you ended it, doesn\'t feel like a Final Fantasy game which is why I welcomed with open arms final fantasy XIII-3, but please let it be the end of it.

TheNinjaMax, I agree with you. Even if they make profit from this game, it will damage the ff franchise reputation. Why continue on a serie probably half of the ff fans don\'t plan on giving a second chance and know probably a third chance. If they continue to produce games like this it will be hard to bring back those fans, and when square enix finally make a good ff game, some of them may not buy that game because of all the dissapointment they had from previous ff titles.
Even if it take less time to make 13-3 I will double facepawn if final fantasy 13-3 game is released before versus.

CrystallusUltima, FFU doesn\'t post the podcast on the website from time to time. I did experience that when I was waiting around 2-3 months and suddenly they had released 2 podcast episodes without me even knowing it, but then I got Itunes. Now I listen to all their podcasts including kingdom hearts .

Hello CrystallusUltima. Sadly the problem for me in 13-3 is that it may end up being the same downhill again. It's like the old saying, "Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice, shame on me."

I'm sorry you experienced trouble with FFU Podcast updates. I can't say that I've experienced the issue you're describing with a 2-3 month delay, as the podcasts are posted once or twice a month depending on scheduling and week layouts. Only exception to this is maybe a week missed due to holidays. You can find all podcast listings updated regularly on the podcast page. Keep in mind also that the website is undergoing development for an upgrade soon, so hopefully you'll find the new layout to be more fitting an streamline! At any rate, we definitely value your feedback and will be looking into any possible issues as you described and continue to work to improve things!

Also thanks for suggesting iTunes. Feeds are a great way to keep updated!

Well, despite not being the best, I liked FF13.
And FF13-2, despite being kinda confusing, was enjoyable as well.

I wasn\'t satisfied by the way FF13-2 ended, since, basically, you lose.

So, I definitely want a FF13-3, even if it\'s only to conclude the story in a better way.

Now, I know that this would most likely push aside other great games (like Versus), but I just want to know how Lightning story end.

And let\'s not forget that, the way the DLC ended, it\'s pretty much confirmed that if there\'s a FF13-3, we will be playing as Lightning this time around!!
