Speculation - Birth by Sleep/Days

This has semi-spoilers, so if you haven't beaten Days, then please don't read... or if you want to, go ahead!

Okay, here we go.

Basically, 358/2 Days has reinvigorated my interest in KH. I haven't felt this excited about playing a Kingdom Hearts game since the first one came out. I experienced that same excitement I felt when I was 13 years old and it felt awesome! I did like KH2, but for some reason I wasn't completely sold on it. It did have some of my favourite characters, like Axel, Roxas, and Xigbar, but it didn't feel the same for some reason.

I'm having a lot of fun playing 358/2 Days (I still haven't finished it because I've been quite busy. I don't care about spoilers cuz I already spoiled myself) and I can't wait till BBS. I mean, if I like Days as much as I do, then I can't wait for BBS. It is going to be epic.

However, there is something that bothers me about the characters in Days... NOMURA! Why do you make these awesome characters like Axel, Roxas and Xion, give them these spiffy AMAZING personalities and stories, and then KILL THEM OFF? Roxas wasn't technically killed off, but he was still a hell of a lot better than Sora, in my opinion. So why?

That brings me to some other stuff, mostly about the BBS characters and the connections it will have with other characters from other games. I've been thinking about Roxas, Axel, and Xion mostly. I mean, first off, Axel and Roxas' friendship. I mean, if I remember correctly, Axel met Roxas first, and then Sora, right? If Nobodies like Axel aren't supposed to have a Heart, then why did he become Roxas' friend? I didn't think much of it, but then when I played Days, I thought... did Lea (Axel's Somebody) know who Ven was? Hmm. Also, if Axel had never gone to Castle Oblivion, would he have seen Xion as Xigbar did, and not as Kairi/Sora or a "pupppet"? This is just speculation on my part (and mostly because I love Axel and because I hope his Somebody appears in BBS ;A; ). Maybe I'm just reading too much into it, but I like speculating, yanno?

So! Basically, I just hope that Axel/Lea has a big story in BBS.

I like Sora screw you Karen xD I mostly don't like Roxas because Jesse McCartney is he voice actor haha. I like what SE did with making Sora the main character, why? because we have far too many moody main characters in SE games. I know Roxas can't "technically" be moody because of the no heart thing, but you get my point. But anyway, I like how SE chose to have a character who always sees the good in every situation and never looses faith, it's a welcome break from characters like Squall or Cloud.

But anyway, I have many theories about BBS. The whole Ventus/Roxas thing is a bit hard to figure but we will see when BBS comes out.

Ah, but that is where you are wrong, sir! Roxas can feel emotions. Play the games thoroughly next time! XD Roxas is moody, I admit, but not to the point to where people hate him (besides the fact that he's voiced by Jesse, but I don't care about that). Roxas has a reason to be moody. Hell, I'd be moody if I were him, too. He goes through a bunch of stuff. D:

I LOVE AXEL SO MUCH THE WORLD DOESN'T UNDERSTAND HOW MUCH I LOVE HIMMMMMMMMM. DDDD: (I like Sora too, but not as much as Roxas D: )

Yeah, it was so sad. I read all of the Secret Reports after I beat the game, and I hope everyone can agree with me when I say that Axel is probably one of the best developed characters in the Kingdom Hearts series. No one can argue with that point! >.< NO ONE. Hahaha. But yeah. The were so happy together. I always feel that Axel got the short end of the stick! :< Poor guy got left with nothing! Nada! (But, I read the KH novels, and according to Naminé, Axel didn't actually "die" but faded into darkness and is stuck there till he finds his heart. (idk if the novels actually affect the plot of the games, but whatevs). I also hope that the connection between Ven and Roxas/Sora is mind-blowing. I don't want sometime painfully obvious. I'm very, very intrigued by Xigbar so far. I think he'll have a pretty big role in BBS, if the way he saw Xion was any indication. There has to be something.... And I love Xigbar, haha, so I really want him to have a huge role. 8D

I did read an interview once where Nomura was asked if Axel and Saïx's human selves were going to be in BBS. He said that they might. Way to be vague, Nomura!! D:< OH! And Master Eraqus' name is an anagram of Square! 8D Haha, I thought that was nifty.

I've gotta go with Caleb and say that Sora is better than Roxas for the same reasons. While I'm a huge Cloud fan I'm bored of the number of main characters like him who are moody all the time and Roxas definitely falls into that category. Personally though, while I don't know why, I'm finding it hard to get excited about 358/2 or BBS. I'm just waiting for the next main title to arrive for PS3 and I can go back to kicking some heartless ass with a giant key and Goofy and Donald by my side.

well its now proven that lea does indeed meet ven, but the reason why axel became friends with roxas was because roxas made him feel/think like he had a heart again and made him remember the old days when he was still a human, as for him dying well it is believed that he will return as a somebody.

A somebody is the past life of a Nobody. I.e. Lea is Axel's Somebody, Sora is Roxas's somebody. Xion isn't a nobody at all (Won't explain why because it's slightly 358/2 spoilerish.)

ANYWAYS....

I think the reason why Roxas can cry and actually feel emotions is because... Sora technically was still around for the first 14 days of 358 (Supposed to symbolize Chain of Memories if you haven't figured that out.) Remember, Sora's heart was revived by Kairi, which means Sora didn't actually turn into a Nobody all of the way. To be a nobody you really have to have a heartless of yourself AND a nobody. Sora didn't technically have a heartless due to the fact that Kairi revived him immediatly after he transformed.
