Anyone else a little bit annoyed at the sheer amount of DLC costumes (some of which could have easily been free ones, like the previous Tales of game cameo costumes)?

I get most annoyed by costumes that cost, unless they are particularly awesome. However, when they're free like the new Uncharted 2 ones out on Thursday, I have to say I love it!
![]() BTW, you probably meant "amount" rather than "about" in the title. Otherwise you sound like you've got a cold xD.

Damn typos. :P
Plus the fact that some of these could have been in-game (like in sidequests), but they made the as DLC.

Thats what DLC has done. They hold things out of the game and release as DLC a few weeks after launch. DLC is really annoying when you are clearly getting ripped off, but I still like it.

I try not to buy DLC unless it's discounted or a game that I really really like.

As long as the costumes are free then tons of fanservice is fine with me. Once they start charging for costumes then I'll stop downloading them.
And besides the free stuff, I usually never download the DLC unless it provides a giant chunk of story or at least a reasonable amount of added game time. For instance, the Shivering Isles expansion was amazing and the added campaigns for Valkyria Chronicles were all worth their prices so I quickly snatched them up. Anything else is usually ignored. |

It's amazing that Namdai has released almost $150 worth of DLC costumes that don't do anything in the actual game. >.>

Namdi does that to freaking everything though.
Like I bought Pac-Man CE for my iPod for $3. Over half the game's content requires an "expansion pack" that costs another $4. It's one of the reasons outside of my tales fandom that I have trouble thinking about buying into them nowadays. As far as costumes are concerned, putting in vocaloid costumes just lowered the already non-existent chance that we had of actually getting ToG over here.
