So, now that people have had enough time to play through both games, which do people prefer?

Im going to put my vote with R2.
R2 to me felt better in every single way.
The first felt kinda dry to me, not bad, but not great.
R2 is my favorite first person shooter to date.

I wen't with Fall of Man. FoM had the better online play in my opinion while R2 had better single player and in my opinion FPS's are purely about the online aspect. I may be a little biased here as FoM was my first ever game I played online.

Resistance: Fall Of Man is a far more polished, and engaging experience then the sequel will ever be.

Edit: Fuck, I voted the wrong option. Take the one off the sequel, and add it to the original in the poll.

Resistance: Fall of Man for me was too long and stale, while the second Resistance was for me was more exciting to play and did not feel like a chore to finish.

I went with R2. FoM was very good... but I think that was because it was one of the first PS3 games, and there wasn't much else to play.
R2 had a better single player, and although I didn't enjoy the MP as much, I still liked it more than FoM.

Both are pretty decent games though

I may be wrong, but I don't think that's what he meant. I think he meant that completing Resistance 2's campaign was more enjoyable, it flowed better. Resistance: Fall of Man did get a bit tedious in some parts.
