Sora and Kairi are not a pairing?

Ok so i've heard that there are some people out there who argue that Sora and Kairi aren't a romantic couple.

Personally, they ARE a couple, they just have the old elementary school/middle school crush type relationship where they both don't want to admit they love each other.

Please put your opinion on Sora and Kairi being an item here.

ok, this post is heavy in KH1 spoilers.... but I'm gonna assume that if your reading this topic anyway, you've at least beaten KH1, so I'm not gonna tag it as such, except for SPOILER WARNING

Lets think back to when they found Kairi at Hallow Bastion. They found out that she would not wake, because her heart was not there. Sora had her heart. He plunged the dark keyblade into his heart to release hers, which turned him into a shadow. When Kairi, Donald, and Goofy encountered him in this form, she realized that it was Sora and vowed to protect him from the surrounding shadow heartless. Only upon covering him to protect him did he return to his real form.

Of course they're apairing! It's rather stupid to say they're not, because the whole first game is about Sora trying to find Kairi and free her heart. It is a bit more that he likes Kairi more than Riku in the first game, plus Riku's trying to kill him.

I seriously want to see a huge kiss scene even if it does mean ruining it for the younger kids all going "EWWWWWW!" If KH3 becomes the end of the series, then they can't end it without Kairi and Sora FINALLY kissing.

And as little as I am into romance in games, I still think there should be a bit more evidence that Sora and Kairi are a pairing.

Oh my god of course Sora and Kairi are together if you just play the game it's obvious! There are many scenes I could mention to prove it but ill just say one of my absolute favorites

at the end of Halloween town when Jack and Sally are dancing and Sora imagines it's him and Kairi. That was a definate awwwwww.....wipe away tear moment!!

LOL that would be pretty funny.
But I do think that every square enix game has to have at least one paring, I mean look at all the Final Fantasy games, a lot of the charactors have romantic pairings. So it would make sense that Sora and Kairi were a pairing, but if you ask me, I like the Roxas and Namine pairing better (even though tecnically they're the same people)

Seriously I think its obvious that somewhere down the track Sora and Kairi well have a Kiss sence and who knows it's Disney so they might get married and also have kids and grow old and live happily ever after. But do we really want this, a happy ending?

Haha, yes, that would get a certain reaction from the younger kids playing this. Maybe if we're lucky, the KH rating MIGHT finally go up to Teen or somehting.
