I absolutely LOVED it. We finally got more of Riku's side of the story, which was great. I feel like in KH1 it's just "he's our friend." "he's not our friend." "he's evil" "he's our friend again" which I didn't like. He's such a great character, so it was nice to be able to get a little more into his mind. :]
Any cutscene with Axel was good of course! But I did really like that one when Zexion casts an illusion over Riku, pretending to be Sora. In my opinion though, the ending cutscene for Sora's story was a little too long.
What about you? Your thoughts??

I loved it. For one thing it actually allowed me to finish the game and it is the origin of my username.

Aww. Did you guys not play the GBA version of Chain of Memories?
Probably nostalgia, but I liked the pixelated but intense version on the GBA better. But I'm sure many of you can understand this, many here feel nostalgic towards non-3D games.
Reading the text was fun for me, because I could imagine the voices saying the lines any way I wanted to. Add my own inflections when needed, it was very fun.
Also, hiding up in my room with my Gameboy at night playing through the creepy corridors of Castle Oblivion is one of my favorite memories.
That said, Re:CoM was great. The cutscenes man... the cutscenes... Great animation. Facial animation practically the whole way through.
Every KH fan should get Re:CoM.

See i kinda like it, but i was playing it and I got to twilight town and took like a week off of playing it and when started playing again it erased all my files. So i don't like it that much.

I enjoyed it because the game (especially the PS2 version) makes you think. The latter boss fights are pretty intense.

The PS2 version makes you think more than the GBA? Hmm. Don't get it.
But I will agree that the PS2 version had some GREAT boss fights. Marluxia was wicked, and Zexion was interesting.

i absolutely loved chain of memories! i went straight into it after i beat kh1, and the different fighting system got me confused, with the cards and all, but i eventually got the hang of it. i found out that a lot of the other bosses you have to beat (like vexen, larxene, and axel) were pretty hard to beat, but the final boss, marluxia, was pretty easy. i liked riku's story too, cuz then you could see what he was going through. lol, i laughed really hard at sora's sudden voice change! lol
