I agree. That is really cool. I still kinda wish that they'd put all that effort into making XIII come out a month earlier though lol.

I just joined up. I think it is pretty cool. I am just wondering how long it will be before they start to charge for stuff (paricularly avatar items).

Wow, I actually joined SE members in March 2008 (when it first started) and never have known other gamers who also frequent the site.

My opinion: The site style is very sleek, the concept is unique, I like the inclusion of contests and such, and the games are relatively fun.

My biggest complaint is that there is NO Forum page to post to other members.

The prize for FFXI looks pretty cool but I wish that game would just DIE. Now they have this whole "Return to Vana'diel" program to get old members back and playing the game. Being a former FFXI'er (75 RNG, 58 WHM, 56 NIN, R10) --if that means any thing to anybody in this day-- I at one time who have supported this move by SE but the game is OLD. The graphics are last-gen, the leveling system is flawed, and the amount of time you have to put in is outrageous. This game used to have 1.5 million subscribers and last I heard it was 250,000 (I believe). WoW is at 11 million and came out only 2 years after the release of this game.

...Sorry for the FFXI rant but I wish SE members could offer a prize that wasn't associated with this game...

Oh that's pretty cool, I haven't been to the site since I signed up some time last year xD I'll be checking this out.
