Default Improvements for Resistance 3

Ok, so we've had two Resistance titles now from Insomniac, and they were actually quite different.

It's basically confirmed that there will be a third title in the franchise, but what would you like to see improved upon in the third game?

Har-har. Considering Sony owns the Resistance brand name, I don't see that happening.

Simply put in 2 things.

1. Bring back the freaking Weapon Wheel, it's one of the things that made Resistance feel different from any other shooter out there.

2. Mix up the third/first person narrative like they did with Retribution! Just less smack talk.

Co-op- a few more class types wouldn't hurt especially if they didn't take so long to level up.

A few more new weapons wouldn't go amiss either- while it already has quite a variety I'd prefer if they were more balanced as when online half the weapons were too useless in comparison to say the marksman or wraith that you just couldn't have any fun using them.

Also online I'd prefer if it waited a bit longer for games to fill up as I don't think I've actually played in a full 60 player battle once despite playing for hours upon hours.

I really agree with you on the weapons and classes. I even think that they shouldn't make lvling up so long on competitive. Co-op isn't so bad though. They have more weapons to choose from, rather weapons that actually work!

I say that they should bring back a few of the chimera in the third one like the steelhead and titan.it would be pretty exciting if some of the enemy jumped at you like a menial from the first game.

Technical issues

I personally can't really comment on anything else, this game bored me quite quickly to be honest. But there was some really poor level designing going on in the few levels I played. Misaligned, low resolution textures on floors and walls were commonplace. As were objects (such as sandbags) that had no shadows, placed right next to others (such as crates) that did!!

Obviously gameplay is more important, but when you're on a budget of millions, surely you can have someone play through checking these things?

Post Depends what it is

It really does matter on what your talking about. I mean, if you were complaining about campaign mode I can see what you mean, but you have to remember that on competitive nothing is going to be perfect with every thing going fast and nobody paying attention to anything except other people and there objective.

I was certainly talking about Campaign mode. To be honest I didn't even stick around long enough to try the multiplayer! Which is a shame because I heard it was pretty sweet.
