What do you think of cast in XIII? Personally it's not my favourite crew, though I do like them. Lightning's a kick-ass less-emo version of Cloud; Hope's just too winey, though cute; Saaz is just awesome, but a little annoying; Snow I hate in general, there's about 16 seconds of love for him in that whole game for me; Fang is cool, I guess; Vinille is too...rainbowy, though I do love her at the end.
What do you think? Favourite cast, or not so much? Personally I really like the X cast, the VIII cast, and obviously the VII cast the most.

In terms of general gaming, no, they're not the best cast. In terms of Final Fantasy, still not the best, but definitely not the worst.

Lightning is the hot and tough female. Hope is just a brat who learns to be a better person. Snow...let's just say that he's is better off staying in crystal stasis. Sazh, cool wise man, who I like. Fang and Vanille...um...let's just leave it at that.

If I were to put them in best to worst, the list would be:

2. Sazh.
3. Fang.
4. Hope.
5. Vanille.

I wouldn't say that they're the worse set of characters, pretty far from it I think. I'm quite fond of the cast, even though I didn't like Hope at the beginning or thought that Snow was the dorkiest character I've seen in recent games .

I like that that they made Lightning the strong and "no looking back" lead, yet she was still very much a vulnerable person. Sazh was the best imo, he was like the funny uncle in the cast but also the one with the most experience. I like Fang and Vanille too, I don't see why others associate them straight away as the ones with a "lesbo-relationship" though. They're from the same village, and as revealed in the game (I don't think this is a spoiler but just in case, potential spoiler in white) when you reach Oerba, the entire village was a very close knit community where they shared practically everything with each other. My first impression of them together was that they were either sisters or childhood friends.

My favourite arc in the game was definitely when Sazh and Vanille were paired together, I absolutely loved its climax.

Hope - He grew on me and became the best developed character in the game

Well, to me the 13 cast has two sides .One side made you hate them ( so much sometimes ), like " OMG, just STOP doing this that ! >:[ " .And then made you like " Ahhhh....OK i forgive you <3 ". They are like........my friends with flaws/bad habits, but i still like them because they are all good persons and make my heart felt warm . 13 cast is not the best in FF series but not the worst .

This was my least favourite cast from every FF I've played from a personality/backstory point of view.

They're just as good as any others in terms of build/strengths/etc.

They work well for the game, but I think I'd not like any of them if I met them in real life, except maybe Vanille and Hope(which is funny because in the game it's different). But to rank them, I'd say:

It's probably a biased opinion, considerring I never play the game, mostly just cutscenes on YouTube, but I don't know much about Saaz and Fang.
