I was on Twitter writing some New Years resolutions, and eventually I started doing ones about gaming. One of them involved dusting a few games off of my Pile of Shame, another was to complete every Kingdom Hearts game before the next new year...

This got me thinking... what are your New Year's Resolutions as gamers? What do you hope to accomplish in 2012 that relates to gaming? It can be anything, whether from completing or replaying a series you love, finishing a game you started... etc.

I plan on not buying any games next year. As hard as it sounds it should be easy and play more portable games.

Drop my entire life for Guild Wars 2 when it comes out.

But seriously. Maybe get a few more points in my GW Hall of Monuments even though I can only get bragging rights titles from now on.

I also need to start completing some PS3 games before I go out and buy more. And resist this massive urge I currently have to download FFIX...

Gaming resolutions? Don't mind if I share some of my own.

1) Buy a Vita at some point, with Gravity Rush and Uncharted GA.
2) Acquire a Dreamcast and a GameCube.
3) Collect more Genesis games.
4) Decide whether I'm going either Old Republic or Guild Wars 2
5) Finish Phantasy Star I & II

That's all I got right now.

Eh I don't know if I should share my secrets...what the hell why not:

1)Get a Vita with at least 4 games
2)Get more Emulators and ROMS for PC
3)Buy more Games
4)Beat Peacewalker and MGS 4
5)Get to Level 15 on PSN by December 31st 2012(currently at Level 12)

While a bit of my list sounds contradictory, bear with me

1.Stop feeding my pile of shame. Buy less, beat more!
2.Get started on my Classic game collection (Been wanting to rebuy my old systems/games).
3.Buy Vita and play Gravity Rush to death!!!
4.Lock myself in a room and platinum the fire out of Tales of Graces f
5.Learn Japanese so I can play Valkyria Chronicles 3.
6.Avoid WiiU......

my new year resolutions:
1. Buy FF XIII-2, Trine 2, Natuto Ultimate Ninja Generations, Sonic Generations
2. Find some way to play KH: DDD
3. Reach level 21 on psn and achieve 60 plats by the end of 2012
4. Complete all treasure sets in U3 MP
