He dropped the trenchcoat, but is still keeping some pretty slick moves. As long as that same level of choreography keeps up it'll be just fine. In DMC4 everyone thought that Nero was the new Dante and flipped a shit, until they played the game and realized that the switch to Nero was the best thing that's happened in the series.

I'm down with this.

The combat looks like I expected it to be, over the top. I'm not liking the emo-kid look that Dante has though...but I'll probably get used to it, as long as they don't change his personality.

I seen the screenshots first and all I thought was "oh dear lord" but the trailer was pretty good. I can't wait to see actual gameplay.

I agree. It's still over-the-top action, but I kind of like it. I can't wait to see some gameplay. I was shocked when I found out that was Dante. He looks so different. I hope his personality's the same. xD

I have yet to play Devil May Cry (*Avoids being hit in the head with a mallet*), but DmC looks alright. Although, I do think that the "old" Dante looks better... It's not a game-breaking thing, but it is pretty sad to me.

I just finished the trailer. I had a feeling that was Dante, but the look threw me off. As long as they keep the over-the-top action and Dante's personality, I'm okay with it.
