I agree!

It sounds like the guy is getting confused about what's real life, and what's a fictionalization. But then again, the gov't will always deny his involvement with the CIA, so who knows how true his story really is. Iran simply doesn't like anyone who has anything to do with America, and that entire region would jump at the chance to take out an American, whether it be legal or not.

If he makes it out alive, I wouldn't expect him to be in very good shape. Iran's policies on the arrest and interrogation of prisoners is a tad bit different than those in the States.
