It's that time of year again! The coveted Member Awards are about to begin! Every year we have our own Community based awards recognising what a special group of specimens you are by letting you vote for each other in an assortment of categories. Each day a new thread will be put up announcing the award title, and you should all reply with who you think should win the award (give us a reason too, if you want). The person with the most votes wins! Let's get down to it!

This thread is just to remind you guys about the rules (there are some new ones from last year), but you can also use it to discuss anything not directly related to the individual awards threads that will be going up daily.

Rules
- You CAN only vote for one person per award (any votes after your first one will be void)
- You CAN vote for the same person in multiple awards
- You CANNOT vote for yourself at any time
- You CANNOT vote for members that have not been active (signed in or posted) in the forums or on the site in the last 6 months
- You CANNOT vote if you yourself have not been active in the last 6 months of 2011
- You CANNOT vote for staff members (black, green or blue username) in ANY award
- Votes MUST go in the thread for each separate award
- Voting in each award will remain open for ONE WEEK, votes will be counted up & announced at the end

Rather stricter rules this year it seems, I suppose the 6 month thing in part has to do with Brian's little gag last year

Anyways, I look forward to watching this year's awards unfold I got a few people on tap for who I plan to vote for, but not being able to vote Brian for funniest member kinda makes me have to rethink that one...

Actually, that poses a very interesting question. This is for 2011, and technically, you weren't staff in 2011... Although, Clo, feel free to tell me if this loophole is invalid...
