How did you get into art? I was pretty much born into it. My parents had creative professions, my mom was a scale model builder and my dad is an art director for a press company. My grandfather drew comic strips. It's pretty sweet. I've been drawing for as long as I can remember, although I wouldn't say I was any good at the start.

What's your favorite console? Hmm. Good question. I rarely touch my PS3 at the moment except to review games, and I mostly play games on PC and PSP. I'd say PC for the moment. Although Atelier Totori on PS3 is incredibly addicting and I'm really excited for Atelier Meruru.

Ninjas versus Pirates, who wins? Ninjas, of course. No doubt about it. The real question is Ninja Pirates vs Pirate Ninjas. It would be so epic that the universe would implode.

Do you prevent forest fires? Yes I do. I don't flippantly light a match or set a fire when I'm in a forest. I dig a hole, clear any dry hazards from the area and use a bunsen burner.

How have you come to be on GU? (or, how did you find it/get your job?) I made my way here from FXN. I did some graphic and mock web designs for David's site just for fun, and Darryl apparently like them. And now here I am. I did mostly graphics up until late 2009, that's when I started doing editorial work.

How old were you when you first started drawing/pursuing art? I've been drawing for as long as I can remember. I didn't start taking it seriously until my senior years in high school, however. I wanted to be a policeman at first.

What's your favorite type of art (that you draw and just in general)? I love to do environmental art. A lot of my peers don't get that though, they prefer character art. But building worlds is a very rewarding experience for me, plus it's also easier to get into the industry since most studios need more environmental artists than they do character artists.

What is your favorite moment in the entire Metal Gear series (including Metal Gear Solid and Metal Gear Ac!d)? It'll have to be the end of Snake Eater when...(SPOILERS)

What is your favorite genre of music? Mostly video game and Japanese music. That's what my playlist is composed of anyway, I do listen to the occasional mainstream stuff.

What is your favorite band/artist? Hmm, I really like The Pillows, Bump of Chicken, Bonnie Pink, The Beatles, Carpenters, Katy Perry. I fair range I think.

Do you play an instrument? If so, what do you play? If no, what do you want to play? I learned to play the piano/keyboard way back when, but I dropped it due to exams and studies. I can play a bit of guitar, but I'm not that interested in it.

How much do you REALLY loooove peaches??? Surprisingly, not that much, I love the taste but I dislike the texture. Peach tea is friggin' awesome though.

What is your favourite anime? Of all time? Has to be Taiho Shichauzo! Following that it'll be Rurouni Kenshin. More contemporary anime include Working!! Lucky Star, Code Geass, Ga-rei Zero, Gurren Lagann, K-On! For films my favourite has to be Summer Wars and A Girl That Leapt Through Time.

What do you like most: Pizza, lasagne or cheeseburger? Depends on my mood, I like all three fairly equally. If you're wondering about Italian food in general however, Alfredo is my favourite.

Anyways, i notice that you are heavily into Asian pop culture, or at least the current art styles (same thing over there). Are you...aware that its just a fad yet?

Also, i love ff9 and apparently you like it too. What really sets this game apart from the others for you and how would you feel if Uematsu, Sakaguchi, and Toshiyuki Itahana partnered up for another game?
