woo i\'m not alone! unfortunately i can\'t play more atm as my gf has decided she wants to play a final fantasy for the 1st time and has selected 13, so i\'m stuck watching that! lol

But don't let it bother you. The thing with music is that it's so broad in taste and favor that it's hard to please everyone.

the only time i stopped and thought hang on, this is too weird is when i jumped on a wild chocobo and had a heavy rock/rap tune start playing. that was weird. but i get it, it\'s a wild chocobo, so they played wild music. still, was weird though lol

I will never be a memory . . .

Honestly, I think the Final Fantasy XIII OST pales in comparison to that of Final Fantasy XIII-2.

XIII\'s Is definitely better in comparison to XIII-2, But FFVI wins in my opinion.

I've finished playing the main storyline with all paradox endings and have collected ~150 artefacts. I've watched the secret ending on YT because I'm far too lazy to go for a fully complete version of the game, meaning I'd have to do the monster collector artefact mission - I don't think so! XD I'm just rounding up a few stragglers along the way - want to beat Yomi (my last goal in this game).

My personal opinion: I enjoyed playing it! It's good entertainment and certainly worth the money I paid for it. It has an interesting storyline (messing up future and past, or wait, was that correcting the mess? Maybe both...XD). I like Noel, against my first impressions, and also Mog. Caius is kind of a "broken" villain with charisma and a VOICE (ah, Liam O'Brien really is my favourite VA.)

Have to agree on two things with Colin - I question the role of Serah, too. Plus some very weird music tracks which ruined a few bossfights for me. There are some good ones on there, too, like "Full Speed Ahead". And. Wait. It confused me a bit, because after all the fighting, puzzle-solving, talking, button-mashing, strategy-devising... I still don't know what happened! ;-D #kidding

Bring on Mass Effect 3 demo tomorrow, and the game in March! ;D

I hated this game... Nothing to admire... Flat dialogues, bad story, no believable flow in the story, no sense in the battle system, short game, too many themes with annoying voices, mog sucked, Noel sucked - all in all, the worst Final Fantasy ever, only to be compared with X-2 and XIII, which - surprisingly - are the only three games that the same crap director made... Off you go!

I would pretty much agree with everything Colin said here...this is pretty old by now, but I would also add that I did like the added humor (mostly Mog). It brought some levity to a very heavy, serious (kind of funny) plot. In terms of the soundtrack, I enjoyed some of the reinserts from the first game, and thought it was cool how well they fit. I'm mostly thinking of the Archylte Steppe with...Mahabara music and Suulya Springs. other than that, not much to add!
