getting the vita is totally wroth it for 10
the vita is confirmed to be region free for games, so if 10 is released only in joan and us not europe, duh that would be silly not to release 10 in europe, as 10 on ps2 was released in europe.

i hope you can get it from the ps vita store also apart from retail stores, cause it\'s cheap to download it from the store than buying the cart with the packaging and box with manual with costs the prices retials sell them at than the digital version which costs less because it doesn\'t contain the retail packaging stuff to give it the extra price.

Well i dont mind this at all. I never beat the original so ill enjoy this version a lot, and im just glad to know they wont be changing any of the key elements (like voice acting).

I know how those of you who already beat it several times must feel, but give square props for what they are achieving through this. They are bringing a great game from an era past for younger gamers to experience. I want people to play this game who didnt have the chance to before. Its closing the gap for what it means to be a current gen gamer and a last gen gamer.

I\'m glad it wasn\'t a remake because this makes it more likely that FF12 is going to get remastered, too. FF12 is just about my favourite game ever made but damn it\'s soooo hideous on an HD television that it\'s essentially unplayable. I\'m not a graphic snob by any means, I still enjoy the graphics in Mario 3 more than most new games in the series. But there\'s something about FF12 that makes a game that was breathtakingly beautiful on a CRTV look like it consist of about 18 pixels on an HD machine. Arcghklsda

As Darryl said before, I think this was just a mistranslation thing. I already assumed it was to be a remastering, and I'm actually really surprised that so many people though that it was something more.

Interesting, I've not tried FFXII on my HD TV (it's my favourite too ). I would buy a HD remake of that instead of FFX.

love ffx can\'t wait to play it in hd. hopefully they can still add stuff like a bestiary or something. a one like in ffxii would be awesome i was disappointed they didn\'t keep it for xiii.

Are you using component or composite cables to hook it to your HD TV? I use Component (HD Analog) and it looks fine to me. Bites that you're having issues with it on HDTV >_<

I'd love FF12 getting HD'ed just for the bringing over the features in the International edition and playing it on Vita would be awesome. I do hope however that they blend the zoning. I hated how in certain areas you'd walk 4 feet into another zone loading. Nintendo did a good job with Zelda:OoT 3D in getting rid of their zoning in dungeons, so I hope squareenix does something similar to FF12.

That was going to bring that up too. Square, lately has been trying to bring in more people of the series, those who may not know much about the series. I haven't played 10 yet, but have a copy and I'm not sure whether or not I would by the HD remaster. I honestly don't care about graphics, there are some (like my brother) who care too much. It keeps them from playing the awesome older FF games. But I think square is releasing 10 first because it's probably the easiest to remaster, where as games like 6, 7, 8 would have to be remade. Which takes time and lots of money.

well HD remaster its better than nothing, and for trophy hunters like me the adition of trophies is enough reason to buy it xD, there is only one thing i really want them to fix, the sync between characters lips and voice acting, that was the only bad thing about FF X.
