I dont think he does, for one, he always refers to the fact he's working under the organization, and following orders. He doesn't seem to indicate he's above anyone else, he just seems happy with himself for achieving his goal. Am I missing something?

lol He doesn't have an ego issue. He's got his own little Axel thing lol. It's something bout his character that's really carefree and kinda chill but you could take that as ego issues. I think it's the voice as well lol. Quinton Flynn was made for this part and he makes it so that the ego thing seems even bigger lol

He's my favourite too, hands down(in that game). And yeah, Quintin Flin's voice definately makes english Axel, Axel. He makes such vain comments too^^'. I love his little relationship with Naminé. The "It's time you gave me one hell of a show" line, I remember thinking, "Is that even leagal?!" So he definately gets the most freedom of speach.

That is one reason why Chain of Memories is my favorite game ever. The GBA version, because that line is not in the remake. After memorizing what Quinton Flynn's voice sounds like then playing through the GBA CoM again makes the whole experience a LOT better because you can imagine his voice with the FANTASTIC script that the original CoM had.

During a Q&A with Flynn, he was asked to read the line using his Adelaide voice.....

It was truly epic.
