Is the version on the PSN store just the Origins one? I might just emu the GBA version if that's the case.

One golden rule of RPGs: have multiple saves. It is way too easy to screw things up in modern RPGs, never mind the classics.

Bummer, I thought for sure the remastered version for the PSP had PSN versions as well.. looks like all they have is the Origins version. Oh well, PSP/UMD it is then.

Yes, it's the Origins version from PSX ported to PS3/PSP

Mass respect, dude. I myself am not sure if I wanna risk an attempt on the NES version (because I've had many problems in terms of the save disappearing on my randomly) or my favorite version, the Origins version (PS1). I might go with origins just because it is easier, but I will do it on normal difficulty and with all the added features (auto target, dash, battle support, and whatever the 4th one is) off (something I have not done on a run on the PS1 version)

Also if anyone wants, I should within the next day or so be posting up a vid with tips for getting started (good for any newbies to FF1 I think)

Sounds good, I'm glad I can take part this time since I have the PSP version of FF 1. And I still have my world map! (Because I got hopelessly lost the first time I played )
