I may wait to hear more post release before buying into this one. I love the Racoon city setting and zombies, but afraid it's going to be just another Gears of War. As well as too action and online centric.

I would agree with the millions of sales if they had kept Resident Evil 6 quiet. But with that announcement I believe that fans will prefer to save their money for the numbered title released later this year.

Fans will likely go for RE6, anyone looking for a fun co-op zombie game outside of L4D might be interested. I know I am. Probably won't drop the full $60, I'll wait for the price to drop, but I'm looking forward to some fun with friends.

I agree 100% This definitely looks like Gears of War instead of an actual survivor horror game like Outbreak was. I have been saying this for awhile anyway so its no surprise. But then I see stuff like this and it makes me upset. I don't think they will ever return to their roots. Outbreak was something they tried twice and poor sales derive from it, but then later on people actually realized it was brilliant and immersive. I never got to play online cuz I was too young but dam it I wish I would have. I heard it was pretty badass compared to the bad AI in the campaign.
