Welcome to the listener questions thread for the MiniGUP podcast. The other threads are for questions specific to either Final Fantasy or Kingdom Hearts, but this one is a bit more liberal. Basically, you can ask us ANYTHING. We will of course try our best to answer.

3. Ask as many or as few questions as you want.

Three easy rules! Yay. Not all questions will make it onto the show, but keep trying. If your question didn't make it, we might use it on a later episode, or we may have decided not to use it. Reasons for deciding against using a question include: it has an obvious answer; terrible grammar/spelling; we already answered that question in a past episode; the question is inappropriate; the question is RIDICULOUSLY long. There are other reasons, but those are the ones off the top of my head.

Sony and Microsoft are close to releasing their new additions to their consoles - Playstation Move and Kinect, which both have similarities to the Nintendo Wii.

What are your views on the three different versions, and which would be your choice of purchase, if any at all?

I was recently playing an old school Playstation game sometime ago when I realized that the last time I played a game without Trophies or Achievements was Super Smash Bros. for the Wii. My question to you guys is; do you think having these psudo-rewards for completing sometimes ridiculously hard challenges contributes to, or steals from the simple joy of playing a game?

I know myself that I'm somewhat hooked on trophies and won't buy a PS3 game that was a pre-trophy release. But I sometimes feel like I'm playing for an empty basket of respect rather then simply playing to play. I will say though that they do contribute to increasing a game's replay value so they're are not without redeeming qualities.

With the 3DS seemingly reviving many older titles, such as Kid Icarus, are there any games that you would like to see brought back on the console? Do you think that the 3DS(and DS capabilities in general) is suited for bringing them back?

Seeing how many games are being either ported or developed for both consoles, do you see title exclusivity becoming less and less prominent? And how would you see this affecting the console wars?

Now that this generation on consoles is about halfway over, (debatable) what would you like to see in a playstation 4, xbox 720 (probably won't even be called that), and wii 2? Do you think that we even need new consoles within the next 5 or so years?

What aspect of gaming do you find more important when creating a game; the campaign or the multiplayer?
