Actually let me add something that might make a bit more sense to the 'go do it yourself you have no rights' posters - not as an attack but just to try to provide some insights.

You pay for tickets to the NFL championship. You get revved up. You buy the uniforms, pointy fingers, posters for your team, etc. You have gone to every possible game up until then. And the championship? It is great! Brutal game, close up until the end, great half-time, seats are perfect - it is all Great! It really is! Tie-game, the team is running for the touchdown, may make it, may not.. and someone blows a whistle, the franchise mascot walks out, and it is announced that today instead of seeing this touchdown they are going to have a cook-off to see who wins. Then when one of the confused team captains does win, all you get to see is that he changes his jersey color and everyone leaves.

Basically.. that happened. Make more sense?

So yes, I get it, we have no rights to how the NFL runs its games, we don't get to pick the ending, and that's ok... but... *that*

Considering that WOT lets users affect the score by downvoting if they hate it and there's no peer review process outside of the site owner actually having to register on their site and maybe it fixing it after that, I don't see why that site is worth talking about.

Love it. Another one who misses the point. Here's the thing: I disliked the ending, meaning the literal last five minutes. Plot holes and nonsense aside, the rest of the game was magnificent. But all this talk of open-endedness has me scratching my head. Since when has tying loose ends been considered low-brow? An artist can create a definitive conclusion to a story and still have people talking afterward. This has nothing to do with whether your ending is vague or leaves questions open. It has to do with how the writer treated the themes. An ending is not an ending which leaves everything open. That's called a cliff-hanger. Life may end the way ME3 did, but art is a contrivance. Stories, being art, do not need to conform perfectly to life in order to serve a purpose. They have a beginning, middle, and end. That is not like life at all. Life is birth, then one long middle, then an interruption. But a story structured like that is commonly considered a bad one.

Having said that, I hope they don't change the ending. Let it just be bad. The trilogy as a whole is great. I can always shut the last game off before the final battle. Hey, that's open-ended! Yeah! Teh art!!

Did you seriously make the title of this page just to troll people? I'm pretty sure you did. "Only in reality you're the one who owes them" Quote from Author...... Seriously? I paid 60 bucks for it, and 10 for the DLC that was on the disk. They owe me a game that is worth 60 bucks. Don't even get me started on the plotholes. And all the promises that Bioware made? 16 clearly different endings, but all it is is 95% the same ending with little differences of color. The journey of ANYTHING doesn't matter if you get fed dog feces at the end of it. IT LEAVES A BAD TASTE IN YOUR MOUTH, REGARDLESS OF HOW GOOD THE REST OF IT WAS. If you actually want to have a serious discussion on the ending, instead of an article that's title is CLEARLY DESIGNED TO INFLAME PLAYER RAGE, send me a letter, at mattheww7740@gmail.com.

If you believed that to be his intention, and still wrote this response, then by your own logic, you just let him win.

I don't think more explanations are needed. Those of us who are fine with the ending know exactly why the rest of you are crying. It's not hard to see why you're all freaking out about it, it's actually very transparent. However the level of protest that has been garnished from 5 minutes of an amazing trilogy is shallow and childlike.

I'm honestly not quite sure where to start responding to the posts regarding my article, but perhaps this is a good time to clear things up.

I'm not entirely sure about your logic here, does this mean that the other X amount of minutes you were playing the game were so thoroughly ruined by your last five minutes of the game that you want a full refund? That's pretty baffling to me, so unless you absolutely hated your play-through of the game from start to finish I think it's fair to admit you're overreacting in terms of demanding a refund. Also, my quote was in reference to the series. How anyone who particularly enjoys an aspect of the entertainment industry enough to invest a massive amount of time and energy into appreciating every facet of it will naturally feel a little bit of self entitlement. There's a reason the term 'fanservice' exists, and it's to feed into that entitlement in a sense, to keep you happy and (in a way) to thank you for joining in the ride. I'm certainly not saying ME3 provided any of that unless you include the chance to chat with a Promethean for a few extra bucks fanservice, but please don't quote me out of context.

Not 5 minutes, id you are going to say it, say it properly, the final 5 minutes (more like 15 minutes but who is counting. It's so important because it's the finale, and it wasn't just bad, it simultaneously undid all the character development over all three games, now if you didn't find that offensive and annoying, you probably were never that big of a fan anyway, which is cool. But now imagine if this was a novel a movie, a stage play, a Tv series e.t.c that you were a big fan off and tell me you won't be pissed.
