I would probably not be for the whole "Lightning in KH3D." Don't know why people would want her in there so badly... what you pointed out was true, she's appearing EVERYWHERE that its definitely turning into "overkill."

But also if I do recall correctly (maybe I heard this on the podcast or something) but KH3D (from what we've seen) has the cast of TWEWY added in, and there's no sign of FF anywhere... So just this in itself could mean that SE is moving away from FF cameos and towards the TWEWY... >.>

yea, i definitely agree with that theory.. not agree with it in the sense that i'm ok with it.. but I think this is definitely becoming the case. It's just a shame though since I feel FF didn't really have much of a chance.. :<

When I first heard of Kingdom Hearts the Final Fantasy aspect was a big selling point for me, but when I got into the series I became less interested in the Final Fantasy characters and more interested in the original characters. By the time I got to Birth By Sleep and we only had Zack I didn't even care about the lack of Final Fantasy characters because the inclusion of Final Fantasy had been handled poorly right from the get go. They don't really contribute to the game, they're just there to draw in the crowd.

So how would I feel about the inclusion of Lightning? I don't really care either way, but if they do put her in it would be nice if she made a decent contribution to the story rather than just being there to make sales.

I don't see why it's an issue that needs to be made such a big deal out of.

If she's in it she's in it...no big deal..not gonna harm anyone.

If she isn't she isn't...so fans need to get over it and play XIII or XIII-2.

You say it wouldn't harm anyone, but I think it would be quite detrimental to Square Enix's stock. They're pushing Lightning way too much in everything. She's a good character, but she's not THAT good.

Yeah I think it'd just really depend on your attitude on FF... or more really, how you got into the series. Cuz I didn't know anything about FF when i first played, so I didn't really pay much notice/significance of this characters other then that they're not Disney. Now that I know more FF, I can see where you're coming from....:/

I hear you. Above I said that by BBS I didn't care about the lack of FF characters and that there makes me kind of sad because it feels like it's something I should care about because I'm such a huge FF fan.

There is no way in which it could harm S-E's stock.

I just don't think enough people care either way to make a big difference. The quality of KH:3D is of way more importance than Lightning being in the game or not.

Besides the whole Lightning marketing is a sham anyway, she's been pushed many times and she's never been the main character (she wasn't in XIII, fang/vanille were, she wasn't in dissidia, she wasn't in xiii02)
