I'm over 20 hours myself, but then again, I had walked away from the game leaving it on so many times since this started LOL

i hate those stupid birds that can petrify...almost had a game over because of them... they petrified all my characters except black wizard, then the mummies put my BW sleeping and only woke when he had 1HP left, luckily in the following turn my BW managed to cast fire 3 and kill them all Big Grin

i decided to back out, but still managed to get all treasures in mirage tower and the first floor of flying fortress.

I'm at 15: 47, about an hour and a half of that was spent on the first bonus dungeon Earthgift Shrine.

Checkpoint reached, this week was very small, i think it only took 90 min or so, and Tiamat was another easy boss Big Grin anyway i think i need a bit of grinding, my party level is 27, i doubt its enough to complete the final dungeon Tongue

Tiamat isn't the real danger in the sky castle. It's actually a chance encounter with WARMECH that's the danger o_o

i didnt knew that "hidden boss" existed....glad i didn run into him.
if that happened, most certainly i would have lost... and i would scream in anger, after climbng 8 floors just do die at Tiamats door xD

anyway, Zero do you think level 27 is enough?

I wouldn't call him a hidden boss, just a real pain in the arse that just likes to pop up when you least expect it. He is an extremely rare encounter though. I've never even fought him, but he's suppose to be the hardest enemy in the game (kinda like Omega in FFVIII)

hmm... 27 isn't too bad, I'd say. I'm like at 23-24 atm with my characters. I assume with such levels that you were one of the people playing the old style? (I can't remember, it's been a while since we talked about which versions we are playing LOL) I'd say that if anything, you might need to back out of the final dungeon a couple times if it gets too much for you (at which point, hopefully you have a white wizard or something with Warp2 to get you out, because that is literally gonna be the only way out of the final dungeon)

It's funny how you're all saying that Tiamat is really easy. He is still arguably the most difficult enemy that I've fought so far... It's like I actually had to pay attention to what was going on, and I had my White Mage healing every time, regardless of whether it was necessary at the start of the round! But yeah. Not at all difficult, but definitely the hardest so far.

Anyway, I'm up to date now. Smile I'm thinking that I'm going to go grind in some of the PSP bonus dungeons for a little while later in this week.

There's a question I wanted to ask though. Throughout my travels, I have yet to actually fill up all the magic that my White Mage & Black Mage can actually own (three spells per level). Does anybody have any tips on what a good full sheet for each would be? I have 999,999 gil burning a hole in my pocket, so I might as well spend it!

y'know, I don't think I've ever actually filled up all my magic slots before, now that I think about it...
as for magic I'd suggest though...

LVL1
BM- Fire, Focus, Thunder
WM- Cure, Dia, Protect (replace Dia later with Blink if you wish)

LVL2
BM- Blizzard, Temper, Slow
WM- Blindna, Nulshock, Invis

LVL3
BM- Fira, Thundara, Focara
WM- Cura, Diara , Nulblaze (replace either Diara or Cura with Heal later if you wish)

LVL4
BM- Haste, Blizzara, (remaining)
WM- Poisona, Nulfrost, Vox

LVL5
BM- Firaga, Teleport, Slowra
WM- Curaga, Life, Diaga (Replace Diaga with Healara if you wish)

LVL6
BM- Thundaga, Stun, (remaining)
WM- Stona, Exit, (remaining)

LVL7
BM- Blizzaga, Sabre, (remaining)
WM- Curaja, Diaja, Healaga (protect ring prevents instadeath already, so you don't really need Nuldeath imo)

LVL8
BM- Flare, Stop, (remaining)
WM- Holy, Full-Life, (remaining)

now do note, in many cases for this game, I do not trust status attacks, and you seriously can't trust instant death spells, so that is one of the many reasons I've never really filled up my magic LOL
