Before Portal 2 comes out I would like to know what platform I should get it on.
Got Portal for my Mac, runs pretty okay. Can't have the graphics as high as I would like, but still very playable and I've found ways to compromise. A very fun thing with the computer version is the developer console, lots of creative things you can do with that.

I've never Portaled on a console before, I'm just wondering if you guys like it better on computer or PS3 or Xbox 360.
I can't imagine too well making Portals with your knobs, if that's how it works. Are the controls very good?

So, should I get Portal 2 for PS3 or my Mac?

Always get a VALVe game for the computer, and never for the 360. They are fine on the 360 until update come along. Microsoft will almost always make you pay for them. (That's why TF2 sucks on the 360, don't even get me started on the PS3 version.) When it comes to Portal, the PS3 is supposed to have it's own team or something for updates, so it should be okay. I would go with the computer just to be safe...

Definitely not Xbox then.
The computer definitely is the safest, but look at the teasers and shots for Portal 2...
There are so many more things for it to render. Graphically, looks like it could get twice as complicated. I would like a more powerful system to play it on instead of just getting a lot of ram for my compy.

Then PS3 might be your best choice... (When you get one...)

I personally like to play games on couch with a nice tv.

Good point, MSJ, but the creepiness of Portal is intensified I think when you're right next to the screen, it's like you're really there.
What were the PS3 controls like, and did they work well?

The 360 controls were very good (But the damn update issue) so I can't imagine they would be much more different.

So, the controls are good, but what are they, exactly?
Do you move with left analog, camera with right, shoot with the buttons?
My mouse was pretty inseparable to me, I grew quite attached to it because Mighty Mouse feels awesome.
Can you be accurate with your Portal shots? I know that in some levels, if you don't aim for the exact spot, you can't finish the level.
