Depends on your budget and what you want to use it for really. If you're likely to use it for graphic design/photography etc and will be using photoshop a lot, a mac is ideal, though they are expensive.

As for gaming, you'd prob be better off getting a PC, I spent £750+ on a good Sony Laptop for gaming, and although it's good, I would have benefited more from a pc (probably cheaper too).

But I'm no expert xD
