Well I have played RE and is not so bad as people say, the multiplayer is actually entertain, yet there exist some thing that doesnt feel like it a resident evil game is like a L4D third person with RE tematic.

About AC5 since the first one the new games never have focused in bringing new players to te franchise, its a game that all the effort were made to make it more enjoyable to the veteran players and it has always being his strong point. The menus are complicated, True.

Yet its still refreshing when you learn how to do everithing and the mulptiplayer is really hardcore. For those who like mechas i can tell you that is worth to try.

I can agree that Armored Core V isn't all that bad. When I reviewed it, I just felt it could have been a lot better.

One disappointing game for me is Battlefield 3.

Last year, one of my buddies did mention to me about shooting through walls and stuff. Well, I tried out the campaign, and the furthest I gotten was that Night Rush mission when you play sniper in the rain and you have to cover the ground team entering the building. That's the part I gotten stuck on and tried it about 10 times and still fail the mission.

If were just going by retail games there is a lot of truth in this article. With downloadable games I found Amy and I Am Alive really disappointing(This is just based on PSN games).

BF3 was certainly disappointing, at least in terms of its single-player. I find the multiplayer on the other hand an absolute blast. It's one of the few multiplayer games I still enjoy.

It's also disappointing to see ORC do so badly. I know it's not a game Resi fans were looking forward to, but as a game by itself I thought it looked like a lot of fun, especially when you get friends together to play co-op. I'll still be picking that game up at some point.

Sad part is, all those things I hate in my RE games, Operation Raccoon City can go to hell for me (which it did), at this point I don't except RE6 to be any better, which is why I am not going to buy it. What ever anybody does, don't buy Resident Evil: Operation Raccoon City, its trash.

Trash in what sense? If it's only trash because it doesn't fulfill what you want in a Resi game, that's not enough of an excuse for me to ignore it. I personally found the gameplay to be a lot of fun, reminded me so much of Fireteam Bravo 3, but with a threeway with zombies and spec ops teams. On the other hand, if the game is unplayable because of bad design choices or mechanics, I can see why you'd call it trash.

To each his own, I have not like the RE gameplay since RE4, and I really tried to like RE4 and RE5, but sadly to me; they keep getting worse and worse. RE:ORC just kills me gameplay wise, RE5 Co-op was awful for me to beat the game with, and ORC was just more of the same; but with more A.I. characters. But I will say, that I am not the biggest fan of Third Person Shooters, so that might be part of it.

I thought RE5 was pretty terrible too, I didn't like the shooting mechanics. Co-op was more fun, but for the wrong reasons. Mostly laughs about how bad we were doing and fighting over who gets the shotgun lol.
