This is a simple question but since you all know I have anxiety problems. What makes you fall asleep at night like what you listen to or something like that?

For me I listen to my fan and have ESPN on all night Smile

i have sleeping problems, and sometimes getting up early is a problem, even on weekends and holidays my average of sleep hours is 6-7h max, to help me sleep i usually play videogames, its a great way to spend all that energy left, sometimes watch a really boring movie helps, also a strange method that works with me turn the lights off, and use my psp to listening some good FF music LOL

I myself generally fall asleep to music (usually whatever is playing on the radio station I listen to)

I do often joke about using Dragon Quest 8 to fall asleep. Although I have conked out while playing DQ8, I've never used it as a method to sleep at night (although that might be an interesting idea to attempt one night...)

I think about fictional adventure stories, about characters I like and wonder what kind of adventures they would be having now.

Run toward the horizon, and don't look back

I can only fall asleep after I've held onto one of my airsoft pistols that I keep under my pillow...XD I just like the feeling of cold metal on my chest as I hold it there, growing tired by the second...XD

This is going to sound really dorky, but I sometimes send texts/tweets to my boyfriend before I go to sleep and then 9 times out of 10, there'll be a message waiting for me when I wake up. Heart

He makes me feel at peace, so it's easier to sleep (either that, or I find him so boring that I instantly fall asleep). Tongue

Working nights and day shifts has really screwed my sleeping pattern, so the best thing I tend to do now (When I can) Is just sleep when I'm tired. Completely impractical for anyone with a routine lol, but the lack of sleep was taking effect on me and it was awful.

My pre-sleep routine is that I have to go online to check everything and then cwtch up in bed. Usually I'll just daydream and drift off to sleep, or if I'm not completely tired I'll read a few chapters of my book and play a few games on my iPod Touch.

For me, it changes every now and then. I'm a light sleeper, so I have to get my room really dark and turn off everything that makes a sound before I can actually fall asleep. What I typically do to tire myself out is to read and listen to music. And then if my eyes are tired I'll listen to music and daydream (my favorite thing to do) Smile I have a few anxiety problems as well, and I house/pet sit for a few people so when I'm at their house I don't feel comfortable, so I'll fall asleep listening to music. (since I can't sleep much at other people's houses anyway)
