Overall, I think the tone seems to be a lot darker than your usual FF, which always has the tone of YAY WE CAN SAVE THE WORLD IF WE WORK TOGETHER AND HAVE FAITH.

This simply isn't going to be that sort of game. I don't know whether that would make it "mature" though.
