I just started playing Oblivion again and it's still my first and favorite wrpg. I feel like western games are going downhill faster than japanese games did. Everything has been "Call of Duty-ed" in the past four years. CoD, Battlefield, MAG, Skyrim, Resistance, Medal of Honor, etc.; they're all the same f***ing game! Even Naughtydog took advantage of the CoD craze with many of the changes they put into UC3. Seriously though, Western developers only put out like...maybe 5 different games. Gaming has been moving really slow lately.

Anyways, while i certainly love Oblivion, i love Demon's souls just as much. We'll see if Dragon's Dogma can be another successful jrpg, or if it'll be a pathetic attempt to cater to western gamers' terribly shallow tastes.
