The Final Fantasy series have had an abundance of fighters. Most all of which carry their own weapon of choice. Now most of these have been pretty generic weapons like the dirk, dagger, sword, spear, etc. Sometimes they have had some very unique weapons like the revolver gunblade, the folding gunblade, a paint brush, buster sword, or an oversized shuriken. Question I want to pose is if you could have any weapon and be proficient in it, what would it be?

It's tough for me, as there's a few I can think of. I'd of course love to have Lightning's folding gunblade, but I'd love to own AND master a bow. Though I'm not sure a specific one but a Mog/Sword/Bow would be sweet.

Sometimes a big butt whooping buster sword is all I need to intimidate my enemies.

Either I'd go dual wielding katanas (FFV ninja stlye!) or I'd go with your everyday buster sword. Though Barret's arm cannon would also be pretty wizard. . .

I thought Zidane's dual-sided weapons were really cool. Didn't it come out right around the same time as Star Wars Episode I? The coolness of Darth Maul carried over to Zidane in my mind ^__^. The gunblades are cool too of course. I like Lightning's version better though. It seems like a more fleshed-out idea. It seems like The gunblades in FF8 wouldn't function great as guns. You just also shoot the guy when you cut him. The gunblade that can do that and act as a normal gun seems like a much better idea.

I've had a love of swords for as long as I can remember, and seeing as many people in this past season of NGP seemed to like to put me as their fighters/warriors, I guess it should only be natural that I go with swords. Particularly broadswords

If that fails then I'd turn to my trusty bow. Although collecting/replacing arrows would be a tedious job xD

I would have to go with Sazh's pistols, since in the world of XIII, we don't need to ever reload ammo...And those pistols can turn into a rifle...

If I couldn't get the pistols, I'd get Lightning's sword...That is a sexy weapon and I love it's dual function...
