I don't buy Nintendo products anymore, I think that's a question you have to ask GU's resident Nintendo fanboy Zero. He would say a lot of things I bet, but honestly I think Nintendo games are getting repetitive like call of duty which is another thing I don't care about.

On a side note how does he drink the Dew with his mask, it's magic I tell you...MAGIC.

Years of training. It's tricky trying to drink through those holes without getting it all over my clothes.

Frankly, Nintendo isn't doing anything different from what other companies are doing. They are simply just sticking to the same franchises that fans seem to like. Activision did this with Guitar Hero (and wound up killing it) and Call of Duty, EA is doing this with Battlefield, the usually do it with Need for Speed (although I think we're actually getting overdue for the yearly release of that...) and they may be trying to milk Medal of Honor like that since the reboot.

Aside from Mario though, All of Nintendo's franchises usually add something new to the mix when releasing the latest title. Zelda Skyward Sword was not just another Ocarina of Time clone (neither was Twilight Princess when you get down to it). Metroid Other M was completely different from Metroid Prime, and each Metroid Prime title did add some new things from the previous

Well, I think it's more on my end. I am working on a 10 year old computer, with 1.25GB of ram, and a 2.4 GHz processor (Pentium 4), so I quite often wind up having to forgo stuff due to my hardware limitations

While I agree with Zero that Nintendo does a pretty good job at adding new features to their games, they really do need to come out with a new IP in order to regain some lost respect. See --> hunterslasher13
