Quote:Despite Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker appearing on the PlayStation Portable and appearing on the home console HD collections, it has been omitted from the PlayStation Vita version. This means the collection on Vita will contain Metal Gear 1, Metal Gear 2, Metal Gear Solid 2 and Metal Gear Solid 3.
But.. what... huh... why? Why must these things be so incomplete, broken, and inconsistent? Why can't they just include it all? It's like buying Lost DVD set and it not including a main plot episode. Bad enough MGS1 is completely void in both PS3 and Vita versions. It just makes no sense!!

Still think buying the PS3 version should give you a Vita download free. Oh well, least it's being built for the Vita with unique features.

One question though, the MG titles. Are they just direct ports or did they do any touch ups? (IE FF1+2 on PSP)

Think of them like, in Pitfall: The Mayan Adventure, where you are play very refine version on the Genesis/SNES and then you start playing the Pitfall game for the Atari 2600 on a PS3 in 6x4 res, yeah its like that, and it is mega cheesy awesome.

I'm probably just not gonna buy the Vita version, I already have the PS3 version of the HD collection. I don't see a point in buying the Vita version.

sorry that this is off topic but the PC version of Pitfall: The Mayan Adventure is the best version.

Because they want you to buy it separately and spend even more of your hard earned pennies. Tongue I agree it sucks, but it's obvious why they do it.
