Will it still sell like hotcakes? Yes. Will Halo4 give it some major sales hits? Yes, yes indeed.

Honestly, the move to future gameplay may bring some innovation to the title. So for once, I'd have to give them a thumbs up. If they are indeed doing it for innovation.

I'm guessing COD players will keep on buying call of duty games. Will this game bring in new players? I don't think so. Will Halo 4 make it hard for Black ops 2? Yes since Call of Duty games are played more on the 360(by reputation I'm basing this off) then the PS3 and PC.

Final Question is this the year I will finally buy a Call of Duty game? No(Black Ops almost made me buy a COD game, but now I'm definitely not buying a COD game).

The thing with Guitar Hero was that more than one came out a year. COD only has one game a year so it may still prosper.
Also I'm not a COD fanboy (only ever beat COD4MW), I'm just looking at facts.

If Activision sells Elite again and "it carries your stats from MW3" or whatever it does, it will probably break records again as part of one factor of advertising.
