Always good to hear a company is doing good. That means we get more good stuff!

Hopefully FF13-2's poor (but still as good as DE:HR) sales will force them to move on and change it up. Unfortunately I'd imagine the profit margin for FF13-2 was huge due to the groundwork already built from FF13 so they could potentially keep milking it.

With games like Hitman: Absolution and Sleeping Dog coming out this year I would think that Square Enix will be good financially for 2012 as well. I thought Tomb Raider was coming out this year as well but it isn't coming out until Q1 2013(same quarter as FF 14 for the PS3, which I don't think will happen).

13-2 was an incredible game

and fyi hit man and sleeping dog are garbage games and it will be up to bravely default and dq X and more to carry the load

I would give Eidos more credit with the profits from Deus Ex to be honest, rather than SE's Japanese devs. And I can't really agree with your opinion of FF XIII-2 either - "incredible" is a bit far.

Actually, Eidos is located in Europe, it is considered part of SE-Europe's branch. And seeing as Deus Ex is developed by Eidos, it would then be a western developed title.
