I already have 8 and 9 downloaded, but I can't seem to make up my mind which one I want to get. I know they are both amazing games, but I'm not sure whether to get one or the other or both. Any suggestions?

FF6 will always be my favorite FF of all time, so for a quick answer that's my choice. FF6's story, gameplay, and characters were just so fun and enjoyable. I like FF7, it's just not as big for me as it is for others.

My only question of if you personally would like FF6 over FF7 is if you're okay with the old sprite look. I think sprites age well compared to the pixel mess of FF7, but if you're used to FF8/9 visuals, FF7 may be an easier transition for you.

As for whether to get one or both, up to you. They ain't going anywhere so there's no reason to rush to getting both. Plus getting both often makes me not commit to finishing one.

if you can only buy one, i say FF6 would be a better choice if you like medieval settings, FF 7 for a more futuristic setting, my personal choice would be FF 6

FFVI's PSX port was crap, so if you had only PSN to choose from, pick FFVII.

I constantly hear that, but aside from the ending being messed up, I don't see what was wrong with it.

I'm playing the PSN version of FFVI at the moment. Sure there's a small load time transitioning to and from battle and a bit of a delay opening the menu but it's nothing game breaking. About an hour into playing the PSN version of FFV I stopped really noticing the load times.

exactly, what is it, about 2 seconds tops? Seriously, the way people speak of these load times it almost makes it seem like it takes 5 hours to load! Fact of the matter is, when you consider it, it really isn't all that bad. especially when I've seen games that take 5 freakin minutes just from the intro to the main menu.
