So we snuck our way through a top secret nuclear warfare facility and saved the world as four warriors of light... I think it's about time we picked another game for season 3 of New Game Plus don't you?

New Game Plus is similar to a bookclub, but instead of reading books each week community members are given a set checkpoint in an ongoing game which they have to reach before the end of 7 days. While all playing the same part of the same game, Unionites gather to discuss what we're loving and hating about the game, how funny the dialogue is, or how remarkably brilliant the game design was. All conversation is valid and in face encouraged! The only requisite of the feature is that everyone is playing the same section at the same time and join in the conversation! There's no plus to just playing on your own!

In Season 1 of the feature, we played through Metal Gear Solid, followed closely by Final Fantasy I directly after that. After a slight break, it's now time to pick a new title! Over in the suggestions and feedback thread, the community has been giving suggestions for games they want to play as a group next. There are so many great choices that it's only fair that we take this down to a poll!

Tomb Raider: Legend
Back in the running for a second time, Tomb Raider: Legend takes Lara Croft back to her roots as one of the most iconic characters of the original PlayStation era. Legend is every bit the Action-Adventure title that Lara Croft is known for, and received one of the best critical responses of the whole franchise.

Available for: PC (Steam), PlayStation 2, PlayStation 3 (HD Collection), PlayStation Portable, Xbox, Xbox 360

Mirror's Edge
Also back for a second voting run is Mirror's Edge, known for it's first-perspective parkour gameplay and unique level design. The lead character, Faith, is a courier or "runner" who carries messages in anyway possible across the city before getting pulled into a world of murder and conspiracy.

Shadow of the Colossus
Playing as Wander, accompanied by a trusty steed named Argo, you must defeat the sixteen colossi roaming the forbidden land. Each one of them has it's own unique weakness to exploit, but only once you can find them. Shadow of the Colossus is a cult hit which every gamer should experience.

Available for: PlayStation 2, PlayStation 3 (HD Collection)

Spyro 2
Some know it as Ripto's Rage, others as Gateway to Glimmer, but it's clear that a lot of people still love the second title in the original Insomniac Spyro series. With huge colourful worlds full of puzzles, quirky characters, and the ability to swim, climb, flame and fly, it's no wonder that this platformer is an old favourite of so many people.

Available for: PlayStation, PlayStation Network

Sonic Adventure
The first title in the series to enable 3D free-roaming gameplay, Sonic Adventure still has the speed where it counts. As always, Dr Robotnik is up to his usual schemes and Sonic has to collect up those chaos emeralds. This game is surely a trip down memory lane, before all of the more recent troubles Sonic has had.

Just a point, Spyro 2 is only available on PSN in America.

He gets my vote though! I have my PS1 version somewhere (I think it's in a cardboard box under the bed), and I'm feeling nostalgic. ^_^

Oh really? I remember that they had removed it from EU at some point, but I thought it had been put back on there again. There was PSN maintenance last night, so I couldn't check before I put posted this up. BOO. I think that might change some people's votes then, if it's basically un-obtainable for anyone without a US PSN. Hopefully those that wanna do it already own a copy if they're not in America.

Fingers crossed! I believe Spyro (and Crash) are regularly given away for free to US PSN+ subscribers, just to rub salt in the wound a little. I think Spyro was pulled because of compatibility issues, this was a while ago now.

I really hope we can play through Shadow of the Colossus on new game plus!!! That is one of my favorite games of all times. Also has anyone though of doing a podcast for New game plus along with the forum discussion? Just throwing the idea out there and I wouldn't mind helping out since I have a lot of experience recording podcast. Anyone else like this idea?

Hoping for Spyro 2 since I was more of an N64 kid ive only played bits and pieces of the Spyro games so it would be nice to play through a full game
