This game looks pretty great so far. However, I\'m kind of sad they are jumping on the MassEffect/FF13-2 bandwagon with the terrible event choice junk. Oh well, this may help push Xillia to west quicker so I\'m excited. Hopefully we\'ll hear something at E3, even though they never really do stuff there.

Hmm, the event choice does bring something different to the games, but I don\'t know if it\'ll work too well, it does make things look interesting. I like the weapon switching, adds some variety to the character! Hope the other party members will be able to do that, too! But we need the first Xillia game here! D<

I still feel that Tales fans are WAY to judgemental it\'s just to much, seriously the negativity I hear against Xillia because of the bosses get a barrier so they can\'t be combo\'d to the bitter end is outrageous I get that it may be a little annoying but to Judge the entire game on that 1 thing is ridiculous and NOW it\'s going to be this Event Choice thing. SIGH

^^^^^^^^ We're not judging the ENTIRE game based on the choice thing. We're just saying we don't really like that aspect of it or don't know what to think about it. I'm still getting it when it comes out, and I liked FF13-2 which had the same type of choice thing (Well, most of it was choosing what to say not really what to do (except in combat)), but it's just I feel that it shouldn't be in a JRPG. And they're trying too much to make it like a Western game and they shouldn't do that. They're JRPG's are popular here for a reason! Rgh!

Like I said, I liked 13-2 but the Live Trigger thing was the only thing I didn't like (Besides the DLC ending and those clock looking things in those paradox whatever-they're-called) and I'm pretty sure I won't like it in this game either. That's all I'll probably really like the game, just not that part

@FuZZyFAILURE: We\'re not judging the whole game on that one thing that is new to the series. I\'m happy to hear about a new Tales title, just a bit scared that they\'re going Final Fantasy 13-2 way and there are fans that weren\'t too happy about 13-2, softly said (that said, I haven\'t played 13-2 yet, which means I can\'t fully judge about 13-2 myself).

On the other hand, this might be THE chance for Namco to prove that they\'ll do it right. I\'m actually pretty curious about how all this will work out in the end. I can almost hear them say \"Hah, we\'ll show Square Enix how it\'s done!\" xD So in the end, I think we\'re both scared and curious about this new feature. Although that won\'t stop me from buying Tales games, I\'m by far more a Tales fan than a Final Fantasy fan.

I don't recall where I said the entire game was failed because of my dislike for event choices. I dislike many thing from many games but still love them as a whole. Don't take criticism too seriously. ^_^

Im gonna buy this game (if it comes to the west...) but i hate guns in rpg\'s... It ruins the game for me cause it is a role playing game, not a shooter. But I still love tales games and im gonna buy it but im still not sure about this cause they still did not release the first game.
