With E3 right around the corner, Final Fantasy Union is back again to help give you your fix of FF goodness. This week, Darryl is joined by Colin and Lauren and they jump headfirst into this universe. First stop: the news. This week, they talk about FF7 remake news and updates on FF Versus 13 (don't get excited, there's not much).

After a bit of a rant, they move onto the Burning Question from last episode and read a lot of your responses. Believe it or not, there is a varied opinion on the topic. Be sure to answer the new question which is "Would you want a Crystal Chronicles reboot on the Wii U?" Next up, your questions and this show we have 2 great questions including which FF character would they want to save them in a tight situation and then what is the worst character design in terms of looks, personality, story, etc.

I know Zero wants the FF7 remake, going with my prediction of FF7 remake coming 2017(in dawn 1 of Dollow's podcast). Yeah I saw that video from Dollow, well he said it was fake so I didn't go into the video not knowing anything.

a "reboot"? idk. maybe they could go and do a remake of Crystal Chronicles (from the gamecube) where the multiplayer could instead of being 4 players local, you could do 4 players online, and also make it cross-platform with a 3DS version (kinda like with Echoes of Time on Wii and DS).

I'm not really interested in either of the "Reboots", sadly. Even though I love Final Fantasy, I think "Reboots" are, in fact, another way to make people mad. I know Square is trying really hard to make their customers happy (or gain more money?) with reboots to give them more time to make a really "big" game. Yet, I find it quite annoying. Just focus on Final Fantasy Versus XIII, Type-0, and XV, instead of adding fluff. By making more remakes, you are actually delaying (in my opinion) making the "hype" game worse and more fans will get even more angry because you're taking too long and Square might be losing more money with the Remake. Also, I agree with Lauren about the "Watch it on Youtube first, then buy it(?) later." That's how I did it with most of the games I play(ed) and saved ALOT of money. Also, as I getting off topic, even though the question of "Which Final Fantasy character has the worst design in general", I got an answer too. In my opinion, Wakka is one of the WORST character design in Final Fantasy. In the beginning, I had so much hope and promise for him, but as soon as the Al-Bhed appear, a "Brown Substance" hit the fan. Now, every time I think of Wakka, I think of him as one of those "People who yells and get angry at you for not believing or causing a conflict in their religion." I just wished Yuna/Rikku had a moment where they tell Wakka to "Shut up about Yevon!" Yet, when he does stop his rant about Yevon, it's out of nowhere. Like, all of a sudden, he doesn't believe anymore. Even when Seymour and the other dude almost killed his friends, he'd had still believed in Yevon. Other than that, great podcast, you guys! Can't wait for the next one!

I joined gamingunion just for this podcast (and KHUnion, of course) =) I also agree with Lauren and Haseo about just watching Youtube for a run first...but I'm one of those people who would still buy a remake, even if it came out, but I've been hearing good things about Type-0, and like everyone else, I'm tired of waiting for Versus and XV, so a remake would just be in the way of these newer titles. Unfortunately, I never really got into Crystal Chronicles, as I started FF later than most. One thing I do like about remakes are the remixed tracks from the original, which can be hit or miss, but I generally like them, especially orchestrated versions. Question for you guys: Do you guys have any favorite tracks that were remade, and did it make or break the track? For example, even though Advent Children isn't a remake, I loved most of the music (except the new lyrics in One Winged Angel >_<).

The only good thing about SE taking forever is that I have time to catch up on older games...oops. Also, Lol at Colin calling Caius Kain…I coincidentally replayed FFIVDS and Duodecim just before XIII-2, so every time Liam said something, I was like, Omigod! Kain!

I know I am new here, and well I was raised on final fantasy. I must say that what the company has become since I was a child is a monster and I don't mean that in a good way. I must say though as a current owner of all 3 major consoles on the market today I am deeply deprived because of all the crap they have pumped out as of late. XIII and XIII-2 were an embarassment to the company who held the title of RPG king. I mainly bought a PS3 because of Versus and I bought it at launch. I know their long development but this is kind of stretching it. As for the remakes; I would be up for anything after playing the XIII games; I feel as though I need to get rid of them from my mind asap. I like the show that you guys put on, but alas I have to disagree with some of your statements on versus being cancelled because I still think there is a light at the end of the tunnel so if it because XV I wouldn't care just as long as something comes out that isn't garbage like XII 1&2. Well, keep up the good work and look forward to the next episode.
