Something beautiful and well designed. It's what happens when SquareEnix stops trying to be something it's not. Or so I believe. Watching this makes me scramble to find the PS3 controller so I can play it.

Looks fabulous - sort of like a stepping stone between the current generation and the next generation of home consoles? You'd need one hell of a PC rig to run that sort of thing though, but it is beautiful to behold for sure.

I hope that the next Final Fantasy uses this engine, but I also hope that we're not tricked with pretty pixels like we were with FFXIII and they spend a lot more time working on characters and story line to go with it.

That's what captured me the most about this video. Not the visuals but more the setting and situation as well as character design. I wanted to know more.

The next Final Fantasy will use this engine, even if that video, the look, the characters etc... isn't representive of the game. From what I understand the engine is built to run on PS4, the next gen Xbox, PC, WiiU. It is apparently also going to scalable so they can use the engine to run games on the Vita, 3DS and moble phones.

I just don\'t like the eyes...too normal/real looking for Final Fantasy, in my opinion. But everything else looks amazing. The hair, clothes, setting. Really cool. Just don\'t change the eyes! Please!
