Tomorrow marks the beginning of the 2012 Summer Olympic Games in London. I for one am extremely excited. Being a swimmer I can't wait for the Phelps and Lochte duel in the pool. I am interested in hearing what other events are rivalries people are excited to see in this upcoming 3 weeks.

Should be great, can feel the atmosphere around here (I'm a Londoner). Whilst I've never been into any of it as a competition I'm looking forward to seeing how it all goes. Even though I'm off to Tenerife for a week. Tongue Admittedly it'll be tricky to get around town over the next few weeks so I'll be steering clear, no nights out on the town for me.

By the way, Mitt Romney comes across as a bit of a douche. Boris had his say.

I personally am looking forward to the Track and Field. Love the 100m/200m and 1500m runs..epic stuff!

Might watch a bit of boxing and swimming but yeah pretty basic for me.

Enjoy the world on your doorstep Kevio!

The event I can't wait to watch is swimming. Watching Phelps and Lochte duke it out again is just exciting.

I might watch some track and field. I hope someone can challenge Usian Bolt in the 100m. I'm also going to watch some hurdles. I fancy Liu Xiang to win. Such a shame he got injured in '08.

Will closely follow USA basketball and some football too.

Real shame about Mark Cavendish and the British cycling team yesterday. Everyone else (particularly the selfish Germans) left regulating the entire peloton to our guys and in the end it cost everyone. It served them all right apart from our selfless riders who gave everything - including Bradley Wiggins, sacrificing his time trial energy in the effort. Undecided Most disappointing.

Meanwhile, Rebecca Adlington has just won a Bronze in the 400m freestyle - failing to defend her title but frankly it was a really good race. Looking forward to her 800m efforts now.

That's because he is one, but that's besides the point. I am going to follow Team USA in swimming, Men's and women's basketball and Track.

Haaaah, we've been kicking arse. Big Grin Managed to catch Jessica Ennis winning the heptathlon and Usain Bolt in the 100m while on holiday. Awesome medal count too. Think we've done the Games proud, with our performances both on and off the track/field/pool/etc Smile

Sad to see the games end but extremely proud of the athletes from the U.S. First in gold and total medals, that is how we do it!
