I seriously teared up at the point the chocobos came in, the music is just fantastic ; ; Anyway, SE just released a new trailer for FFXIV: A Realm Reborn, and the game is looking AMAZING! I can't believe that's Ul'dah, it's so different. The visuals and animation all looks so much better, like an entirely different game from the current build. Not to mention the inclusion of Limit Breaks!

I've been awaiting ARR since it's announcement, even started playing again just to get into the swing of things, I'm currently a lvl 17 MAR, 12 LAN, and I can't remember the levels of my other classes xD

Is anyone else remotely excited about this? I'm aware that a lot still hold the impression that the game is broken, which is not the case.

I think it looks great and I hope SE makes money hand over foot like they did with 11 so they can amp up development on their other titles.
I really enjoyed 11 so I'm sure I would be able to get into this one but I know my grades would suffer so I'm staying away from it. I might pick it up next year though since it looks like I'll have to take a year off between undergrad and graduate school. I figure it'll be easier to balance work and play than school and play, but that might just be incredibly naive

I am somewhat suspicious of how the gameplay looks, and the way characters move and everything... It looks suspiciously like White Knight Chronicles, which IMO, was lack-luster game in many respects, which I shall not delve into. However, I am curious to see where this goes, and whether it's a plausible thing to invest my hopes (and possibly money) into.
