OK, so the question I'm asking is, "How did you become addicted to KH and why?" Are you fans from the very beginning, or as recent as Days?

For me, it was about two years ago. I had just been to my first cosplay con, and a lot of my friends there just kept talking about how awesome the game was. Later that week, I found out that my best friend actually owned KH1 and KH2. He let me borrorw them, and I've been addicted ever since for both the fun gameplay and the deep and intricate storyline.

How about you guys?

Well I got a PS2 from my friends cause she was leaving and I was checking out the games. I saw Kingdom Hearts and I decided to play it. The only problem was I didn't have a memory card at the time so I couldn't save. When I finally got a memory card I tried to play it as much as I could.

^ don't you just love it when companies pull the old BS of not giving you all the required things to game? It makes you have to spend even more than you should need to. It's like MS selling a 360 without the hard drive or wireless adapter.

Anywayz, I got into it because I was young and naive and the game featured Disney characters. Big Grin
As it turned out, the game was amazing!!!! Sometimes you just have to trust a hunch.

Ehhhh! I used to play on Disney Channel.com a lot, then around 2002, they started having promos and advertisements about Kingdom Hearts. I clicked and read about it and got obsessed with the characters... But I could not play this game because I didn't have a PS2...
But, I did have a Gameboy Advance SP, so when Chain of Memories came out, I jumped at it. Catching up the plot was easy for me, and I loved Chain of Memories.
Then I finally got a PS2 and all the games it was so great.

I wouldn't use the term "addicted", but I got into Kingdom Hearts when the game was announced. I became interested in it because Cloud was going to be in it (and I was a huge Cloud fanboy back then Big Grin)
The rest, as they say, is history Smile

Can't remember how me n my best mate heard of kingdom hearts, it was probably from being FF fans and hearing there were FF characters in the game, but yeah we got addicted. I got CoM when it came out, and the same with KH2. In fact, I remember freaking out with my mate in the cinema when we seen KH2 advertised =D On release day we raced to town, bought it and then played it together Big Grin

Thinking about it now, I've bought every game since kh1 on release date, and the same goes for BBS xD

Let's see. I got interested in 2008. That was when I discovered FF:The Spirits Within in my search for CGI anime. That led me to FF:AC and got me interested in Cloud. That would later lead me to get interested in FF13. And then I would buy KH2 and FF12 in order to get use to the the next set of FF's. It's been all up hill from there.

I had heard that FF Characters were in it so i decided to play it but ended up loving it because it hardly had them in the story but when they were you knew something cool was going to happen.

Back in 2002 before the game's release, I saw promotion commercials on the Disney Channel, though I didn't buy my own copy until 2003 when I treated myself to a PS2 and a few games with my sweet16 birthday money. Despite the frustrations I endured while playing the game while facing difficult boss battles, it was easy for me to fall hard for the amazing story line and intriguing characters. I've loved the series since and am looking forward to seeing what is coming next.
