Final Fantasy XIV have announced the funniest thing I've ever heard about concerning the new Final Fantasy title. Yes, they will be bringing in the monsters andd, unfortunately, kicking out the butts of these great summoners.

These summon monsters or avatars, will play a big role in the games storyline andd it is said that there will be twists andd plots surrounding these mythical creatures.

Also, word has been sent out that more classes will be moving in to the game following Final Fantasy XIV's debut. Sounds freaking awesome. Watch out WoW.

I don't think WoW will be to phased by FF XIV. It will be a good game no doubt, but now that WoW has a huge player base, FF XIV will have to fill in a large gap of EXCITING gameplay. WoW does this very well by keeping the pace fast and exciting and visually explosive. FF XI was to refined and tried to be to 'real' and didn't try to bend to borders with huge shoulderpads and inhuuuuuuuuuuuge swords (okay it did that part).

I would really like to see the revamp towards PvE content as FF XI had some of the best encounters. Maybe they will make them feel as epic and as exciting to play as WoW has. I hope the community in XIV is like WoW where there is always a place to be in the game.
