I don't mean to nit pick but is this forum ever going to have signature rules. I have seen members have them way too large or have them a stacked a load of them. It just makes the forum look tacky.

There is a signature limit in the rules, but as this forum is laid back on ALL of the rules, it's never really been enforced. Pretty much everyone is breaking it.

But seriously... As a gaming forum, people are going to want to stats cards (PSN/XBL) into their signatures, and you often don't have much control over that. On top of that, people want their own personal signature too... It soon adds up.

The difficulty is knowing where to draw the line. You can't make an exception for one thing and not another. For example, I have the equivilent of a gamer card and a personal signature... That's not too different from someone having one large banner or two smaller ones.


Tbh, I think it really needs to come down to moderator/staffing discretion. Rather than rules about signature size, there should be guidelines (500 x 500 px is definitely a maximum), and then if someone adds something that is ridiculous, the staff can just PM to ask them to change it.

I wouldn't say no smaller, I mean you shouldn't have to have a signature if you dont want one, or if you only wanted a small line of writing or summit.

But biggest size, i'd probably is 600 wide (i dont think it effects the screen too much) and 250 high..

but thats my opinion lol
