As much as I hate to support Activision, I feel like Treyarch gets alot of crap when compared to IW. I actually enjoyed World at War quite a bit. The premiere teaser was shrouded in mystery but the campaign looks very interesting.

Dare I say better than MW2? Honestly I'm not too hot on, and I didn't come up with the name but, "Modern N00bfare 2". The online is riddled with hackers and I hate the whole care package thing. It's over-used and definitely abused. In World at War certain guns took actual skill to be good with, namely the bolt-action guns.

Most of us can agree that MW2's campaign is pretty crappy. The plot made almost zero-sense and there were so many holes. Anyway, back to Black Ops, the time period hasn't been confirmed, but it looks like Vietnam to me.

Either way, I'm interested to hear more about the game. Check out the teaser below:

I have heard from the Weekend confirmed podcast that Black Ops goes from World Ward 2, to Vietnam and also visits the Cold War. I agree that Treyarch gets a bad rep amongst the (hardcore) CoD fans and aren't really given a chance. However, at the moment, I'm feeling pretty bored by the Call of Duty franchise. By November I might give it a look, but I'm not ready to even remotely get excited for this game. Not yet.

After completing FFX, even Chuck Norris bowed to Auron's epicness.

I read on CVG there's a mission in space. I'll put up a link in a second.

Also Black Op has got Co-op. I <3 Co-op. But only if it's offline co-op. Online co-op sucks.

I'm inclined to disagree. The online co-op in World At War was alot of fun if you were playing with people you knew. But WaW also had offline co-op as well.

Well, if it's made by treyarch then perhaps there will be some sort of Nazi Zombies type mode. That was my favorite part about WaW. Also, I must admit, I liked WaW's online a bit better than MW2's with the exception of a couple aspects. However, with that said, I'm still a bit skeptical. I suppose that we'll all just have to wait for E3 for more info on the game. It's bound to make an appearance there.

Yeah well, people like me who're in the middle of nowhere don't get to enjoy online co-op.... :'(. I was very angry when I learnt dead rising 2 is only going to have online co-op.

Nazi Zombies was the only reason I enjoyed WaW. Everything else was like a stupider Modern Warfare, and frankly I've experienced enough WW2 games in my lifetime, I'm glad the entire industry is moving on. I can only hope in five more years we'll see Call of Duty: 50,000 where I get to stab people with a knife that injects explosives into my opponents bloodstream, or teleports them to another dimension where their skin is peeled from the bones in 3D.

Looks pretty good, I hear soap is going to be in it! So makes it interesting, I've always liked treyarchs campaigns, I found WaW campaign quite emotional! And co-op was fun!

Online was good with WaW, I did sometimes prefer "dogs" to nukes and harrier jets! But I did get annoyed with the vehicles, but not all levels had it, and obviously the nazi zombie mode lead to hours of fun!

I do wish they could let us play the germans and japanese in WW2 too, Its such a one sided story, obviously the victors write history but I would love to learn more about them in game form and thier side of the story.

Oh man I loved using dogs. Keeping it simple, no ridiculous care packages. Although I agree about the vehicles, or "Vehicle" as it were, considering it was only a tank. The Nazi Zombies was a ton of fun though and I loved the campaign.

I liked how there was that extra layer of realism as well, how when you threw grenades limbs would actually be blown off xD
