Anyone looked at the PS3 specs lately? Just because even the most meagre modern laptops could be judged as better (256MB RAM?!) doesn't mean the console can't compete with PCs twice its price. It is all about how the technology is used, and as consoles are designed purely for gaming, they will always have the upper hand (if nothing else, in terms of value for money) in that respect.
